December 2008 – The Interdisciplinary Art Centre "Mains d’Oeuvres" (Saint-Ouen, PARIS) invites Facs of Life to set up headquarters in ATELIER 16, as part of its Residency Program (Arts Visuels) to accompany the post-production of the film as well as the preparation of an exhibition/ a series of events to be held in Paris in December 2009.

September 2008 – Sicily : Foundation of the platform "CINEMAUTONOME" with malastradafilm and other independent filmmakers, during a week residency at CONCEPT HOUSE (Italy). Later in Autum : publication of a series of "manifestos" in the Italian newspaper "Il manifesto".
